Perks of being a wallflower should remain a movie. I would keep the same characters that are in the movie as well. I do think that the movie should have some sort of extension though, maybe the movie director could meet with the author and come up with something that makes sense. some sort of "look into the future" type of thing. Where we can see how his relation ship with Sam stands. Also how his relationship with his sister and parents and even Patrick. I think it is essential to keep the part when Charlie sits with Sam and Patrick at the football game. That's where they become friends and when the whole thing started. I also think that it is important that they keep the part where they are at the party and Patrick tells Charlie that he is a wallflower. To me, that's what makes the book. You have this kid, who knows people, knows how to read them and can tell what they're feeling just by looking at them. He just understands. The thing that they should more is his relationship with his aunt. I think that it's important to know what exactly happened with her before they go into detail about why he felt so bad and had to go to the hospital. For the most part I agree with the soundtrack of the movie and I think that the rest of the movie was acted out and played out perfectly. If any book made into a movie was spot on and I had to chose, I would chose the perks of being a wallflower.
