Why I Read

I read because It calms me. I like to read before I go to sleep, It takes my mind off of things that happened during a long day. I've always liked to read, but most of the time I just don't have time anymore. I used to read all the time and now with school and always working nearly 40 hours a week, it get's hard to do. I recently started buying books when I go out to like Kroger's or something, I'll make a stop to half price books or Barns and Nobel and I'll buy a book or two. Over the summer I've read about 3 books. I have read the fault in our stars, An abundance of Katherine's and the orphan masters son. I liked the John green books, but I did not like the book for my summer reading project. To me, I need a book with excitement and mystery and with the orphan masters son there just wasn't any. I could not get interested in it which made it so much harder to finish the book.
